Over the years SACPO has expanded beyond Crime Prevention Officers to include DARE Officers, Community Oriented Police, School Resource Officers, Chiefs of Police, Sheriff's, interested citizens, retired individuals, professionals from the Department of Social Services, Substance Abuse Commissions and other human service agencies.

SACPO's newest members are from the educational community, and the military. SACPO is proud to include such a diverse group of courageous people all fighting to make the lives of South Carolinians richer and safer.
